KANSAS CITY -- It's official, pitcher Dallas Braden will return to the A's rotation Tuesday against Boston.
After missing 18 games with left elbow stiffness, A's manager Bob Geren announced that Braden will be ready to face the Red Sox.
"Unless there's a setback, he's pitching Tuesday," Geren said. "I don't anticipate a setback. His big test was his rehab start. He's thrown twice since that game and he's felt great both times."
Braden is 4-7 with a 3.83 ERA this season through 15 starts.
A's starter Brett Anderson's rehab has been moved to Triple-A Sacramento and he will start Tuesday.
