Crisp's club record steals streak ends at 36
OAKLAND -- Center fielder Coco Crisp was picked off and caught stealing in the first inning of Thursday's game against the Dodgers, ending his streak of 36 straight successful steal attempts. The mark is a franchise record for the A's.

Crisp set the record on May 27 against the Yankees, swiping two bags to extend his streak to 29 straight. That bested the old standard set by Stan Javier, who had 28 straight steals from May 31-Oct. 1 in 1995. Crisp began his run on July 16 of last season.

For the season, Crisp is now 13-for-14 in steal attempts. He had three steals in Tuesday night's game against Los Angeles, the fifth time he's done that in his career.
