SEATTLE -- Rehabbing A's outfielder Chris Young is scheduled to get some at-bats in Arizona beginning Monday, putting him on track to return from the disabled list when eligible on Wednesday.
Young will travel to Arizona on Sunday and participate in extended spring games the following two days to ensure his strained left quad is no longer an issue.
But the A's aren't as optimistic about their other two injured outfielders, with no timetable on the horizon for either Coco Crisp (left hamstring) or Josh Reddick (right wrist) to return.
Crisp "is feeling better," manager Bob Melvin said Saturday, and could begin running the bases within the next few days. Whether he needs a rehab assignment is not yet known. Reddick, meanwhile, is simply getting treatment on his sprained wrist.
The A's have won just three games since Crisp and Young were placed on the DL on April 30.
