A's Recall RHP Scribner from Sacramento; Option LHP Milone to Sacramento

The Oakland Athletics have recalled right-handed pitcher Evan Scribner from Triple-A Sacramento and optioned left-handed pitcher Tommy Milone to Sacramento, the team announced today.  

Scribner joins the A's for the third time this year and is 0-0 with a 5.30 ERA in 12 relief appearances. He was on the A's Opening Day roster and compiled a 4.26 ERA in eight games before he was optioned to Sacramento April 20. He returned April 30 for his second stint and posted a 7.50 ERA in four outings. Scribner is also 1-1 with a 2.48 ERA in 25 relief appearances for the River Cats.

Milone is 9-9 with a 4.39 ERA in 22 games, all starts, this year for the A's. He was charged with the loss last night against Texas after allowing six runs in 3.2 innings. Milone is 6-4 with a 4.81 ERA over his last 14 starts after going 3-5 with a 3.71 ERA over his first eight starts.
