OAKLAND -- The two-time defending American League West champion A's will welcome their fans back to the Coliseum for FanFest on Feb. 8.
The annual event, which this year takes place just six days before the club's pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report to Spring Training, will also extend to the neighboring Oracle Arena and last from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. PT.
A's season ticket holders can purchase tickets to FanFest for just $5 now, while tickets for the general public, priced at $10, go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. All children age 6 and under can enter for free.
Among the highlights are free autograph sessions, photos with players as well as with the A's four World Series trophies, baseball clinics, clubhouse tours, and question and answer sessions. There will also be a memorabilia sale, with proceeds benefiting the A's Community Fund.
Arena doors will open at 9 a.m., and team introductions will take place there an hour later. Shortly after, at 10:15 a.m., the Coliseum doors will open.
A large roster of attendees, including current and former players and coaches, will be announced by the team soon.
